Asia´s flora and fauna are incredibly diverse and unique in many ways. It is therefore no surprise that FZS is actively supporting conservation efforts in some of Asia´s biodiversity hotspots. Unfortunately, uncontrolled destruction and over-utilisation of resources are an immediate threat to many of these biologically important areas. Especially Indonesia remains a cause for great concern in the international community. Nowhere is the destruction occurring at such an enormous rate and problems appearing so complex.
