Frankfurt Zoological Society receives the first ever KfW Bernhard-Grzimek Award
During a ceremony at Frankfurt’s Palmengarten last night (10 April), Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS) was presented with the KfW Bernhard Grzimek Award. FZS is the first ever recipient of this new award which, from now on, will be awarded every two years to honour individuals and organizations for their commitment to saving the world’s biodiversity. In presenting the award to FZS, KfW recognizes FZS’ long-term commitment to practical conservation of globally significant biodiversity and wilderness areas.

Trophée de Femmes for Michaela Skuban
We are proud to announce that today Michaela Skuban was awarded the „Trophée de Femmes“ by the Yves Rocher Foundation. The „Trophée de Femmes“ acknowledges the exceptional commitment of women for the environment.
