40 students from the elementary school of Frankfurt International School today handed over a 2600 Euro donation to FZS executive director Dr. Christof Schenck. The money will benefit the orangutans on Sumatra, Indonesia.
Recently the kids had learnt about endangered animals in school and decided to become active themselves. Their way of collecting the donations was kind of special. The young conservationists did rope skipping exercises and looked for sponsors who gave them a certain amount of money per jump.
Well done, boys and girls, and a heartfelt Thank you from the FZS team in Bukit Tigapuluh and the orangutans.
