      <description>We need your help to stop a logging company destroying Lestari Asri Jaya, a critical part of the Bukit Tigapuluh Ecosystem. 


Please help us by signing an online petition launched by the Australian Orangutan Project  to urge Barito Pacific not to undertake any land clearing activities in the Lestari Asri Jayan concession and allow the concession to be placed under permanent protection for the sake of the critically endangered Sumatran elephant, tiger and orangutan populations.

      <title>Frankfurt Students donate 2600 Euro for the Orangutans</title>

      <description>40 students from the elementary school of Frankfurt International School today handed over a 2600 Euro donation to FZS executive director Dr. Christof Schenck. The money will benefit the orangutans on Sumatra, Indonesia. 


Recently the kids had learnt about endangered animals in school and decided to become active themselves. Their way of collecting the donations was kind of special. The young conservationists did rope skipping exercises and looked for sponsors who gave them a certain amount of money per jump.
